Traditional Advisors Missed the Mark
For Arta Finance customers Chris and Natasha, traditional financial advisors missed the mark. Engaging with financial advisors – even the most highly recommended professionals – felt like a pricey affair, with advice that lacked transparency, consistent customer support, and a personal touch.
Chris, a self-proclaimed DIY investing enthusiast, also wanted to dive deep into portfolio management and investment strategy himself. According to Chris, “Arta's gone out and vetted the creme de la creme of private equity companies. These are companies that wouldn't previously work with individual retail investors like me. Arta has really opened up that door. So now I can participate in some of the top private equity companies that exist today.”
Chris recently found that Arta’s line of credit offering, provided by custodian BNY Pershing, allowed him to access new capital more quickly and with better terms than through a traditional credit provider. Arta’s more holistic approach was especially helpful for Chris, who works as an independent consultant and subsequently has fluctuating income – something that has caused problems for him in the past when trying to secure financing. Further, the speed at which Arta moved allowed him to get into a real estate deal in a competitive market.
Chris and Natasha also invested in two structured product opportunities through Arta. With the structured products, they were impressed by Arta’s ability to secure competitive terms for investors using near real-time market conditions. Unlike competitors who offer derivative investment opportunities with a static approach—which can lead to suboptimal terms in a fluctuating market—Arta’s strategy met their needs with its adaptability and responsiveness. This ensured Chris and Natasha got the best possible terms for their investments.
Beyond Arta’s direct products and services, Chris and Natasha value the platform's proactive education on market opportunities and trends. They’ve benefited from various learning options, including webinars, expert calls, and self-directed materials available in the Arta app.
As Chris remarks, “I’m learning new things at Arta all the time. First off, they're proactive, so I receive email communications saying, hey, we're gonna do a webinar on the 2024 investment trends, and everybody's welcome to join. Or, we're gonna do a webinar on a new structured product offering. Or, hey, we have a brand new private equity company that hasn't been available before, so not only are we gonna talk about that private equity company, but they're gonna be on the call, and they can answer my questions directly and that level of access has just been really interesting.”

For Natasha, Arta's approach hits close to home. She finds the platform's inclusive nature empowering: “I grew up low-income as an immigrant, and culturally and socially, our family didn't talk much about wealth or money at all. I didn't know how to build generational wealth or to manage it. To me today, wealth management means being thoughtful and specific about how we use our resources to build wealth for our family – and also for the generations that come after.”
